🤓 AI Finds Critical PHP Flaw

OpenAI found a critical PHP vulnerability using AI through Patch the Planet. Researcher Calif used GPT-5.6 Sol. Wiz independently found two vulnerabilities.

For two months, OpenAI, Wiz, Cloudflare and others helped PHP developers prepare fixes before disclosure.

OpenAI is allocating $1 billion in subsidized Daybreak access for under-resourced security organizations. It expects AI-found vulnerabilities to rise sharply in the coming months.

Pumpfun (PUMP) launched Pump Bridge for cross-chain token trading. It is the platform app’s default. After tests from September 28 to October 7, the company reported:

➡️ Buying errors: 0.9% vs 11.2% on Relay, nearly 13 times lower.

➡️ Trade execution: market-price deviation about 17% lower.

➡️ Savings: 10 trades of $500 daily could mean about $11000 per year.

👁️ LayerZero Launches Zero Network

LayerZero (ZRO) will launch the Zero mainnet and lzATLAS on November 30. Its first app, Open ATLAS, will support more than 12 trading venues at launch, with more planned by year-end.

lzATLAS is an “exchange without an interface,” providing order matching, settlement and risk-management tools. Institutions are testing it for US stocks and fixed-income instruments, where daily trading and settlement exceed $1 trillion. Partner and performance details will follow.

🔹 Ethereum Sets Glamsterdam Test

Ethereum will launch the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet on October 26.

The update adds protocol-level separation between block proposers and builders (ePBS) and block-level access lists (BAL), enabling parallel transaction verification and higher mainnet throughput. Gas pricing for data creation and access will also change. A mainnet launch date has not been set.

Tesla is accepting deposits of up to $250,000 for its new Roadster, recently shown performing aerial stunts. The company does not guarantee delivery timing, or even that the car will be delivered.

The agreement says the money only secures an approximate place in the order queue. The final price is unknown, but the deposit is fully refundable if canceled before configuration. A quarter-million for “we’ll let you know.” 😂

😛 SkyAI Exits SOL

SkyAI, formerly Sharps Technology, sold all its SOL after ranking among the top five public holders in September, with over 2 million SOL. As of October 16, it held $223.8 million in cash.

It plans to buy back up to 95% of shares and warrants at $3 each, spending about $201 million. If fully accepted, about $22.5 million would remain. The SOL price condition above $100 was removed.

SkyAI still wants to build a Solana stablecoin and AI financial platform, but gave no timeline or details.

🚩 Echo Protocol Shuts Down

Echo Protocol (ECHO), a platform for using BTC in DeFi, announced its closure after failing to recover from an $80 million hack. New deposits and loans are no longer accepted, and interest accrual has stopped.

Borrowers must repay debts by mid-November, or their collateral will be liquidated to repay lenders. Users can still repay debts, withdraw assets and exit positions. The Aptos-to-B² bridge will remain open for aBTC withdrawals.
